Garber's Tanis Comes Home to Bucks County
Though the philanthropists Marguerite and H. F. ("Gerry") Lenfest recently donated Daniel Garber's iconic painting Tanis (1915) to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, their gift requires that it be loaned to the James A. Michener Art Museum in nearby Doylestown for three months every three years.
