Louis LaBrie In Santa Monica

From November 6 through December 24, Cambridge Art Gallery in Santa Monica, California is mounting its second solo exhibition of the American painter Louis LaBrie (b. 1950), who celebrates California's sublimely beautiful coasts, lakes, and countryside. Because each picture requires hundreds of hours of labor, LaBrie produces relatively few each year, a fact which makes this presentation all the more welcome.
