Denver's Gallery 1261 is exhibiting recent work by painter Quang Ho (b. 1963), who was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. in 1975. Having studied at the Colorado Institute of Art, he is now a popular instructor at the Art Students League of Denver. "Art," Ho says, "is a by-product of one's own personal search for truth or meaning. For me this takes tremendous dedication, experimentation (a willingness to find out), and a playful attitude." Ho's exhibition runs through November 30.
